About Us

Abby and Scott both work at Banfield Pet Hospital, Scott as an Asst. Office Manager and Abby as the Asst. Director of Pet Nursing. Abby is also a Dog Trainer with Fresh Air Training, and Scott moonlights as a Sales Supervisor at Patina. They find it difficult not to take their work home with them- literally. They knew it was much more than a hunch, that this group should somehow form a family, and now there's six cats and one dog. Scott is passionate about urban exploring, and Abby is trying to find the time to get back into her art. Abby is currently suffering from late-stage Lyme disease, and Scott battles Epilepsy. They have a gift registry at Fairview Hospital. Just kidding!

How We Met

The internet is a magical and wonderful place. Truly products of their fair generation, the conduit of their meeting was the social networking wonder, MySpace. Abby was the first to test the waters of cyberspace by asking Scott what he felt was the best song by obscure folk-rock group Neutral Milk Hotel. Scott, impressed by Abby's knowledge of lesser-known singer/songwriters, was quick to respond with the obvious answer. Despite the fact that they each had different answers to her query (a point of contention to this day), they took their chances outside the internet where their chemistry held fast without the aid of lists of their favorite movies and cleverly worded e-mails.
